World Aware: Through our Art and Design curriculum children will be learning about art and artists across cultures and through history.

Belonging: Our Art and Design curriculum intends to teach our pupils about inclusivity, diversity and equality of opportunity through studying a range of artists and art across cultures and through history. 

Possibilities: Through our scheme of work, we aim to inspire pupils to develop their confidence to experiment and invent their own works of art. Pupils will be given every opportunity to develop their ability and nurture their talent and interests.  Pupils will study inspiring artists. 

Well-being: The success of pupils in Art and Design will be celebrated.  Art can be a useful tool for relaxation which children may choose to use throughout their lives.  Pupils will be able to express their thoughts and ideas through their artwork.  Outcomes are unique to pupils.
